The Matthews Memo offers a moderate take on American politics, current events, culture, and the lessons from American history. The Memo is written and produced by Jason Matthews who also occasionally opines on the joys and challenges of fatherhood.

ABOUT JASON MATTHEWS

Jason Matthews is a consultant, college instructor, and public speaker.

Matthews has spent more than a decade working in public relations and public affairs. He has advised candidates running for local, state, and federal office. And has served as a senior strategist on a number of bipartisan public policy initiatives.

Matthews owns and operates his own consulting firm specializing in public relations, strategic planning, facilitation, public affairs, and association management. He teaches political science at Bismarck State College and courses on American political history and foreign policy for the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute.

Matthews provides news analysis for regional media and speaks to groups about American politics, government, and history.

Matthews and his wife are the proud parents of two little girls.
